🏫 Classroom Vocabulary
Here are the words we need to talk about school and class.
School
The place where you go to learn.
Class
A group of students who learn together.
Teacher
The person who teaches the class.
Student
A person who is learning.
Book
You read it to learn new things.
Notebook
You write your notes in it.
Pencil
You write with it, and you can erase it.
Pen
You write with it, but you can't erase it.
Online
Using the internet, like a video class.
❓ Asking For An Opinion With "How"
Use "How is" (short: "How's") for ONE thing, and "How are" for MORE than one.
One (singular)
- "How's your class?"
- "How's your teacher?"
More than one (plural)
- "How are your classes?"
- "How are your teachers?"
😊 Positive, Neutral, Or Negative?
An answer to "How's...?" can be positive, neutral, or negative.
Positive
"She's good." · "They're great!"
Neutral
"He's OK." · "They're so-so."
Negative
"He's bad." · "They're terrible."
