🗳️ What Do You Think About Her?
Adam's class is choosing a class representative! Learn to ask for someone's opinion (What do you think about…? · Do you think…?), to give yours with or without that, to say neither in two ways, and to make a quality stronger with so and such: She's so organized! · She's such a hard worker!
Election Day!
Monday, break time. Tomorrow, Adam's class votes for a new class representative. Three students are candidates: Salma, Ziad and Bilel.
🤔 What qualities make a good class representative?
💭 Giving And Asking For Opinions
Say I think (that) to show that you are giving an opinion, not a fact. To ask for someone's opinion, use What do you think about…? or Do you think…?
✂️ The "That" Dropper
that can be dropped without changing the meaning. Click the button — both sentences are correct!
❓ What do you think about…?
An open question — the answer is an opinion:
What do you think about Salma?
— She's very efficient.
— I think she's great!
❓ Do you think…?
A yes / no question:
Do you think Ziad is too disorganized?
— Yes, I do. / Yes, a little.
— No, not really.
Agreeing — a quick review: positive opinion → So do I. (I think he does a really good job. — So do I. · I like them both. — So do I.) Negative opinion → Neither do I. (I don't think she's lazy. — Neither do I.)

🔊 Neither… Or Neither?
There are two ways to pronounce neither. The first is more common in the US, the second is more common in the UK — but both are correct everywhere, and people use them interchangeably.
In this course we use American English — but you can choose the one you like!
