It's Monday morning, and Rayen wants to know everything about Hana's week! Review the past tense with everyday activities (I got up · I did the dishes · I called my grandma), the past of be and negatives, and learn the past time expressions: yesterday · the day before yesterday · two days ago · last week.

🎬 Let's Imagine...

8 a.m., in front of the school. Rayen and Hana wait for the bell.

RayenHi, Hana! What did you do last week?
HanaOn Saturday, I got up early and went for a run with my dad. Then I cleaned my room and did the dishes. Yesterday, I called my grandma. And you?
RayenI didn't do much. We weren't at home — we were at my aunt's house in Nabeul. We ate couscous and watched a documentary. Oh, and two days ago, my brother made pancakes for breakfast!
