You've finished Unit 6 and Progress Check 6 — great work on all that shopping vocabulary! Now it's time to become a shopkeeper (or a customer) and act out a real shopping dialogue with a partner.

This is project 6 of 7 in your English course — one at the end of every unit. Projects can be posters, food pyramids, presentations, videos, stories, diaries, and more — this time, a simulation!
A simulation lets you practise real conversations in a safe, fun way — with a partner or in a small group. You'll take turns being the shopkeeper and the customer, using the shopping English you've learned all unit. Don't worry about being perfect — the goal is to communicate and have fun!
When you're finished, you'll perform your dialogue for the class and reflect together using a simple evaluation grid — see below. 👇

Bring in real or miniature goods of your choice (clothes / food / toys / jewellery...). Set up your favourite shop, then use the objects to enact a dialogue with a partner!
