🗝️ A key word: an invitation
When you ask a friend to do something with you, you make an invitation: “Would you like to play football with us?” It's a polite and kind way to ask!
💡 « Would you like to…? » veut dire « Voudrais-tu… ? » : c'est une invitation polie.

🥤 “Would you like some water?” — “Yes, please!” / “No, thank you.”
⚽ “Would you like to play football with us?” — “Yes, I'd love to!”
⚠️ Offer a thing: Would you like + a / some + noun? (Would you like a sandwich?)
