🎨 Project Idea 1 — My Free Time Wall Poster

You've finished Unit 1 and Progress Check 1 — great work! Now it's time for something fun: design your own wall poster about what you love to do in your free time, using the English you just learned.

🎲 Why We Do Projects

Learning By Making Something Real

Across this course, you'll complete seven projects — one at the end of every unit. Projects can be posters, food pyramids, PowerPoint presentations, videos, stories, diaries, and more!

Projects let you use your new English in a real, meaningful way — alone, with a partner, or in a small group. They help you work independently, build your confidence, and feel proud of something you made yourself. Your teacher will explain what's expected and can show you an example if needed — don't hesitate to ask for help along the way!

When you're finished, you'll present your poster to the class. Afterwards, you and your classmates will reflect together on what went well, using a simple evaluation grid — see below. 👇

Step 1

🖼️ The Project: A Free Time Wall Poster

What do you do in your free time? Make a wall poster to share your ideas with your classmates. Answer the following questions on your poster:

🌟 My Free Time! 🌟

🅰️
What's your favourite free time activity/ies?e.g. "I like swimming and drawing."
🅱️
What makes it/them special?e.g. "I enjoy swimming because it's relaxing."
🇨
When do you do it/them? With whom?e.g. "I usually swim on the weekend with my sister."
